6,800 Customers Added toNetwork

More than 6,800 new customers have been added to The PELICAN Security Network in Texas.

CoSecurity, Inc.— a security services provider with origins dating back to the 1930's — has recently become a Member of the nation's premier alliance of independent alarm companies, thereby allowing it to extend the benefits of this nationwide network to 6,800 additional customers in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.

Dating Back To 1937:

CoSecurity is the successor to CoServ Security, a unit of CoServ Electric, the second-largest electrical co-operative in the State of Texas, serving public utility customers since 1937 when it was founded as the Denton County Electrical Co-Op under the Federal Rural Electrification Act of 1936.

Since January 2005, CoSecurity has focused primarily on the design, engineering, installation, servicing and monitoring of electronic security and fire alarms, access control and video surveillance systems. In recent years, CoSecurity has further expanded its market reach with the acquisition of accounts from All Around Security in Granbury, TX and Southwest Security in Flower Mound, TX.

Management, Monitoring To Remain In Place:

• Charlie Perry, General Manager (30 years experience), a graduate of Baylor University in accounting, who has served in every capacity from owner of his own firm to regional manager for a national provider.

• Sherry Simms, Office Manager (27 years), who managed administration, operations and customer service for a half-dozen alarm companies after earning her degree in management from Texas Wesleyan.

• Ken Coble, Operations Manager (30 years), who is certified by NICET (Nat'l Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology) for fire safety and is licensed in Texas for advanced fire and alarm systems.
